Chanticleer Bakery & Eatery is a family business. The bakery started off as a hobby for Joe Arnold and his wife Suzanne who began selling bread at the Seaside's Farmer's Market in 2009. That hobby and love for great ingredients eventually spiraled into a true business and led them to purchase the current Chanticleer Bakery & Eatery building in Grayton Beach.
That has allowed them to produce at a level to satisfy the needs of local restaurants and dedicated customers. Currently, the bakery functions as a custom and wholesale bakery and offers a daily selection of fresh baked breads and other yummy goodies at the Chanticleer Bakery & Eatery location. You can also meet the bakers, sample fresh baked breads and other goodies at the Seaside Farmer's Market each week.
The eatery is owned by Joe's daughter, Emily Wever and her husband Sandro. The eatery serves up fresh and season inspired food consisting of sandwiches, fresh salads and made from scratch soups for lunch. Working closely with the bakery, the eatery is able to use Chanticleer Bakery fresh baked bread for all of it sandwiches. Like the bakery, the eatery believes that fresh ad seasonal ingredients are a critical element in serving their guests. "Food to Crow About"!

Our favorite lunch place in the area!! The food here is awesome! Very fresh and well prepared - and there's lots of it. And the owner and staff are extremely friendly. Be sure to save room for one of the cookies - amazing! This is a hidden gem.
