Howl-O-Ween + Merchant Trick-or-Treating At Alys Beach

Grab your costumes and leash up your pups—Howl-O-Ween is returning to Alys Beach Town Center! Join us for an evening of festive fun for the whole family, including your four-legged friends. From a spirited dog and owner costume contest to trick-or-treating throughout Town Center and live music, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

DOG & OWNER COSTUME CONTEST | 4:00–5:00 PM
Dress to impress alongside your pup and take to the “Cat Walk” for a chance to win prizes and bragging rights! Whether your costumes are spooky, silly, creative, or downright adorable, we can’t wait to see what you come up with.

Contest Details:
3:30 PM: Contestant check-in at the south end of the Amphitheatre
4:00 PM: Costume contest begins on the “Cat Walk” at the Splash Pad

Tickets are required to participate in the costume contest. Space is limited, and advance ticket purchases are required.

Costume Contest Award Categories:

BEST COSTUME
The showstopper of the night! This award recognizes the most dazzlingly detailed and impeccably coordinated pup-and-owner duo. From thoughtful accessories to picture-perfect execution, this pair brings Halloween haute couture to the “Cat Walk.”

MOST CREATIVE CONCEPT
For the imaginative duos who think outside the costume box! This award celebrates the most original, unexpected, and delightfully inventive costume pairing of the evening. The more creative, the better!

BEST STRUT
It’s all about confidence, personality, and a little tail-wagging swagger! This award goes to the pup-and-owner duo who brings their costumes to life with the most memorable walk down the runway.

MERCHANT TRICK-OR-TREATING | 5:00–7:00 PM
Following the costume contest, the festivities continue with trick-or-treating throughout Town Center! Stop by participating merchants for sweet treats and Halloween surprises while exploring your favorite Alys Beach shops and restaurants. Don’t forget your trick-or-treat bags, or pick one up at the arrivals area. DJ Mike Whitty will keep the festive atmosphere going throughout the evening with Halloween favorites and crowd-pleasing hits. Costumes are encouraged for kids, adults, and pups alike! Please keep all dogs leashed throughout the event and be sure to clean up after your four-legged friends. We look forward to celebrating a frightfully fun evening with you at Alys Beach!
