Kurt, you do a house proud. Your photography always shows a place to its best advantage. :clap_1:Ditto. When I first walked in this house when under construction, I saw several things that didn't make functional sense to me. That duck work seems to block the light which looks like it was intended to come in through all of those windows, and it also takes away the height. That being said, I like the looks from the outside, and the views are great, as is the location.
Now having said that, I am a little disappointed! An unconventional, imaginative exterior hides a rather conventional interior. I expect the architect was going for a hip, loft look when he planned for the ductwork to be exposed, but I think it's distracting. The style is classic beach house--the kind Seaside's been doing for years--and the ductwork is jarring to this style, not complimentary. Sort of like they couldn't decide whether they wanted to go urban and spare or coastal cottage, so they did both. Oh well.

Excuse me, but that's my brother's house.

We would all be very boring if we all had the same taste. I love the outside but totally agree about the inside. I am sure some people would come to my house and say the same thing about it. No harm meant BR.I WAS JUST KIDDING!:lolabove: :rolling: :floor:
When my house is finished in Watersound I will put up a picture and let everyone have at it😀 You know what they say about opinions?:idontno:

I figured as much. However, I am sure that is someone house and we will offend them for real. Again, the saying about opinions....I was just being silly.;-)

But, you know, no matter what the topic, there will be people who agree, people who disagree, and people who don't care. No matter what opinion one expresses, it's bound to step on someone's toes. So, the way I figure it is that you can't worry about it. You just have to let the criticism roll off your back. That's more difficult for some who are thin-skinned (like me) than others.
Location, location, location. It will sell....things are selling--not like before, but they are selling.
Are you PUI BR? You got us gullfriend. That is funny. Not PUI.:funn: I'm just giddy that I got off from work at noon today and don't go back until Monday. 😀
But the ugly duct work and the "A" Frame that chops up a nice gulf view may considerably cut down on what few qualified buyers there are in the market.I've seen many floor plans for homes in WaterColor where the architect forgot to include closets for A/C and hot water heater. It happens way too often.
IMO, the duct work looks like an after-thought. Reminds me of an episode of an HGTV show called "Dream Builders" where a man jumped through all types of hoops to build a home in a Historic District of South Carolina--it took months and months for the architect to draw and re-draw the plans to get approval of the Historical Committee. Finally the plans were approved, the foundation poured, the home was framed and sheeted and only then did they realize that they forgot to include HVAC!
