Proposed Property Taxes

Much lower!

Ours are lower too, surely this is a good thing?

We got one lower (less expensive prop) with both appraised and payment amounts lower
And one higher (appraised value higher, payment slightly lower)

I will challenge (note the short time period allowed) this higher appraised value
As no one can convince me that property has gotten more valuable around here since last year.

Has anyone else recieved their notice yet? I got three of ours in the mail today and they are lower.

Homestead, slightly lower. Like about $75 lower. Not at all what I was hoping for.

I got my property tax bill yesterday and it was about 20% lower than the august estimate they sent out. Did i just get lucky or did they lower property values across the board after the letters went out? The assessed value is almost 20% below what they showed it would be in the August mailing. Anyone else see this?

We are not homestead. Stuck in Cleveland for a few more years.
