OK, I'm behind the curve here. SJ, Kurt, and others have recommended Royal Orchid on other threads. But anyway...
Stopped in there last night after seeing "The Prestige" at Rave. That's a must-see, really intriguing for the plot development, suspense, intrigue, character development, and acting. It's one of those rare movies that doesn't depend on the usual bag of tried-and-true hooks. But I digress...
Royal Orchid is highly recommended. All our food was tasty, the service was cheerful and attentive, and the price of a meal for two would cover one order of sushi and a beer on 30A. Of course, gas to East Destin and back from Seagrove would negate that, but if you're already there...
On the south side of 98 in a small strip center, just west of the outlet mall.

Royal Orchid is an old fave of our family and friends, for the wonderful thai food, family friendliness, and warm and wonderful people who work there who always make us feel so welcome. It's one of the few places we keep going back to on a regular basis (at least a few times a month, but usually once a week), and we've been doing this for many years. If I'm over in Destin for another reason, I usually stop in to get dinner to go.... and then we have plenty of great thai food to last us a few days...

We go there pretty regularly as well. Food is always fresh, and they've got very cheap and very good lunch specials.
