YES...we are opening! :clap_1: For sure on the 17th and 18th for a "soft" opening!!! And then our regular schedule starting the following Tuesday. (Below) I will post more later tonight as I am running out the door right now. HI, Kathy and Doug...Great news and your menu looks awesome. Are you telling me I have to eat a turkey on Thursday after eyeballing this wonderful array?!? We are down in December and can't wait to come over. Are you open on New Year's Eve, by any chance? Will call for a reservation. And will also bring your little goodie that I'm so excited about. Good luck with the opening. Good food, good location, nice patrons, and a talented kitchen...how can you miss? Donna

I for one am looking forward to the reopening of D&K's. It's been too long. Things look good from the outside at ground level.

Be prepared for an extreme makeover. It is absolutely beautiful. There is nothing like it on the coast. You will think you have been transported back to a time in New Orleans when life was easier and the food of course was always great!

Intimate settings in smaller dinning rooms...or if you want to "be seen" dine in the main dining room.......there are no bad tables!

Life is short come and enjoy a new experience in dining!

:chill: :chill: :chill: Yep, that's what the D&K family is doing today! We wish you all a very happy, relaxed, and safe Thanksgiving. This is the first day in 6 months that we haven't had to work on the cafe.....so we are having a blessed day! And eating :drool: yummy Thanksgiving dinner!

Thank you all for your continuing support and have a wonderful day!!!! Please add a short prayer or thought today for the Katrina victims...they are still struggling.
