My wife and I went yesterday for lunch and it was GRAYT to once again bite into the Fried Mahi fish sandwich. We are trying to decide whether or not it is better then it used to be, and we think it is. Not to mention the gumbo and red beans and rice were perfect. We liked the switch to the yellow rice and we enjoyed the seasoned fries too. I can't wait to try the Shrimp Po-Boy and more fish sandwiches...

Thank you, thank you, thank you for reopening for lunch as it is one of our long-time favorites. Now we have to get there for dinner ;-) 😀

Since we're talking NO here, how about a real NO poboy with roast beef?

You know, the kind where the juices run down your arm when you pick it up to eat it, where the Gambino french bread gets all soggy, and you slurp up every bite.

The lettuce and tomatoe and mayo get all mashed out the side.

MAN! I AM HUNGRY FOR ME A REAL POBOY!!!

I had lunch today with some old friends, one from NOLA, the other living in Atlanta, but from Baton Rouge. They missed the open air deck but enjoyed the air conditioning. Carl, from NOLA enjoyed the gumbo and loved the shrimp Po-Boy. He was especially appreciative of the quality of the bread. Tom & I each had the shrimp salad and it was delicious. Tom also got the gumbo and loved it.

Kudos to D & K - you pleased some Cajuns today!

This is great news to me and my family. While we applaud and understand your change---and know it is great food, we also have mourned the loss of one of our favorite lunch spots.
This sounds like a true double win---great dinner spot and a great casual lunch--again!

Congrats to you both---see you on our next visit!
