I run power-outage.org, a free website for finding U.S. power outage information by location and utility. I'm sharing it here for South Walton homeowners and visitors — when a storm moves through 30A, knowing whether an outage is observed in your area versus whether data is simply unavailable matters.
The site has partial coverage — it doesn't show every utility or every outage, and its coverage page explains exactly what's included and what's missing. What's there now: a national county map, per-state and per-county pages, a ~2,900-entry utility directory linking to each utility's official outage/reporting page, and live feeds from sources like DOE/ORNL ODIN, California OES, and the National Weather Service.
If this fits the section rules: Power Outage United States · power-outage.org
One specific question: when you open the Walton County page, is it clear what's currently observed versus where data is unavailable — and can you easily find your utility's own outage page?
