Is the beach free to get into? Does the beach have ramps for a baby stroller and how much are the tents with the umbrellas?

Yes the beach is free to access. I wouldn't recommend a stroller as our sand is extremely soft and it's going to just sink.
I would strongly recommend a regional beach access or state park due to bathrooms and ramps.
As far as beach chairs go you can rent those at the regional beach access from the kids manning the rentals.

This got me thinking about the new customary use agreement letting beachfront owners have commercial setups - will they start charging daily fees for parking, bathrooms, umbrellas and chairs, etc. and become mini private beach resorts? How about sign an annual agreement with a subdivision in Freeport to become their private beachfront access?

Didn't Seaside require certain renters to rent their setups? Those who wanted to use/had to use the gated obelisk entrance? They couldn't bring a cooler. Had to purchase from Seaside? Covid year or two? Ellen

And if the county objects they just get sued and have to back down.
Personally I think the State of Florida should make all beaches public and resolve all disputes.

The terms of the settlement seem worse for the public than what we had before the whole CU fight began.

One of those is literally the protagonist in all of this.

Grayton Beach State Park and Topsail Hill Preserve State Park are free to enter through Labor Day weekend. Other area Florida State Parks with beaches have reasonable entry fees, such as Deer Lake State Park, Camp Helen State Park, Henderson Beach State Park, St Andrews State Park. No lifeguard stations as far as I know.

Deer Lake and Grayton state parks are usually full by 8am so go early.
