Donna Johns has been elected to the District 4 seat on the Walton County Commission.

A Miramar Beach resident who spent 20 years in the military, Johns has been active in the community, serving on several county committees and most recently as a board member for South Walton Mosquito Control.

"I want to do so much good for this county, and I can't wait to get started," Johns said Tuesday evening.

During her campaign she railed about the completion of 98 widening, completed 3 weeks ago. She railed about an apartment complex at Golf Gardens, approved and in process.

What is she going to do?

I did not vote for her, but I will take my chances with her over the developer's puppet who shares the last name of the near consensus worst POTUS in history (yes, even worse than Trump although that may change in the future). It would have been funny to see a hole get blown out the side of Edgewater if Chas had won.

The results on Trump certainly have not been tabulated yet.
