Anyone know of any anti-war protests going on in Sowal or the panhandle over this weekend of 2/26 to 2/27?

Cool idea. We rarely see national political gatherings at the beach. At least out in the open. If there was an organized anti-war protest in SoWal I'm afraid we would have more pro-Putin pro-Trump pro-War anti protesters show up.

They would tell you the Russians are just tourists.

I would venture to guess most of our Russian and Ukrainian folks are busy working all weekend.

:hmm:I wonder if some of the employers are telling the Ukrainians what a great guy Putin is.

Well, my heart is with all my brothers and sisters in Ukraine and the very courageous folk in Russia protesting for peace in Ukraine. I remember seeing BLM protestors on 30a a couple of years ago, so I thought maybe.

Along the same lines, this guy is just east of the now bulldozed, old Seagrove Cowgirl Kitchen area. Extremely disappointing. Ellen

He was told to take his banner down becasue it is illegal. In typical Trumpian fashion he added a second one. Last I heard he was accumulating fines but local 30Aholes are giving him money for fines and lawyer fees.

It's best to ignore that one. He's in the process of voiding our sign ordinance so it's gonna get a lot worse.

One would think as a lawyer he would know trump and his team could produce no evidence he won in sixty plus cases.

Don’t expect these sanctions to continue to have the same negative effect on Russia if Ukraine falls. As usual greed will prevail and work arounds will be the order of the day.
We saw it with corporate support for the elected traitors of Jan, 6.

Ellen, that crap has been up so long that hardly anyone even gives it a second thought, Trump haters or lovers. The troll who owns it is obviously nouveau riche trash, probably hoping to get spring breakers to stop and look.

It's definitely affecting the Ukrainian and Russian communities as they are having to prove origin of money in bank account to prevent OFAC from seizing their funds. This is happening right now all over the panhandle.
