Stan Sunday resigned and is suing two of the county commissioners.Which ones?
Finally paid the fee for news.
Apparently Barker and Glidewell wanted him fired and applied pressure to Larry Jones, but lawyers got involved so we're paying for another year of salary and benefits, plus he's still suing as a whistle blower.

Finally paid the fee for news. But, why did they want him fired? What were the underlying issues?

But, why did they want him fired? What were the underlying issues?Apparently some employees don't like him or his management style. Seems that would be an HR issue though...

Once again poor culture brings predictable results and outcomes. I find it interesting that on other platforms even one of the commissioners weighed in and noted that “HR issues” are handled by the county administrator and it would not be appropriate to discuss in a public meeting though J Tusa was admonished in a public meeting and basically dismissed.
I'm starting to think this is bad blood from the sheriff's department of old.

COMMISSIONERS: Revoke the NDA associated with my 2014 severance agreement and I'd be happy to talk with you about Walton's administrators.

I have a good feeling she's gonna bow out of this one.Although Stan and I no longer harbor hateful feelings toward each other, I really, really have no comment, especially since I haven't a clue exactly what went on. His mama is a sweetheart and I wish him the best.

We might get lucky, Larry might be the next to go.

That'll be great! We can then pay him for the next two years while the BCC does a costly and expensive search for a new county administrator across the country; all to narrow it down to someone's brother or cousin who can barely read.

That’s better than having people in charge of county that is also on the boards of companies with county contracts .
No, I think you're outraged at the wrong thing.
