This beautiful cat was lounging on the dock in the later afternoon sun yesterday. It is rare to see them at all, so to see him yawning and stretching without a care out in the open was very surprising, and quite a treat. Most people don't even know we have bobcats in the area because they are so shy.

Those are great photos! We sometimes catch them on our trail cameras out in Freeport, but they are not frequent visitors.WGI_0282~2.JPG

We used to have a couple of foxes visit sometimes. But haven't seen them in a while. Unfortunate.

I see some around dusk. I wonder if the coyotes are eating them.

Our daughter and her family were visiting us two months ago and went out around 7pm for ice cream after dinner. She saw a fox running along side a guy on a bike (30a between Lakewood Dr and the Under the Sea ice cream shop). The guy was looking down, laughing. She thought it was a dog for a split second. The fox then went North into the shrubs.

ETA: Beautiful photos.
