Super Bright Beach Lights

Anyone know what was going on at the Watercolor/Seaside beach last nite as the Full Moon came up ? Watching from Grayton, it looked like a large mass of people, all with Hi powered flashlights, were engaged in some sort of Pagan ritual, running around the beach. It continued for the entire time of the moon rising, and was still going full force when we left at 9pm. Certainly an unwanted distraction to the natural beauty of the Full Moon rise over the Gulf.

Probably pagan kids from Atlanta

Pro MOON tip - the night before and the night after a full moon is just as glorious, and gives a hedge against weather and pagans. 😉 Usually there are less people on the beach overall - pagans, heathens, atheists, christians, whatever.

I usually try to catch the night before because it rises earlier and you can often catch the sunset and moonrise together.

Moonrise is at 9:25 tonight.

Pagans and Pigs come here from all over not just Atlanta.. They come from Cities small towns and country folk… They’re some of the worst as far as disgusting debauchery over drinking doing drugs and littering with total disregard for anyone else and our beautiful beaches.

I guess the hippies who used to do the drum circle on Grayton Beach for full moons all moved on.
