The Sandestin Wine Festival The Sandestin Wine Festival, April 11-14, brings an opportunity for discovery. Join us for four days of unique events offering a wide range of experiences from attending wine dinners with celebrity chefs, participating in preview events throughout the year, and taking part in wine tastings that showcase hundreds of wines. Wine novices are able to learn more about wines and sample from a comprehensive selection in all varieties, styles, and price ranges. Earth Day Cleanup at Baytowne Marina Celebrate Earth Day Saturday, April 20 with Sandestin employees, guests, residents and sponsors. Help clean the shoreline by removing plastics and other debris harmful to local wildlife, bay water and natural resources along the Sandestin boundary of Choctawhatchee Bay. Refreshments will be provided by Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.
Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County Join us in Grand Boulevard Town Center on Wednesday, May 1 for Dine + Dive, an immersive event igniting all of the senses to benefit the nation’s first Underwater Museum of Art. The Cultural Arts Alliance and South Walton Artificial Reef Association are pleased to expand the former Under the Sea event to an immersive fusion of fine art, food, wine, and marine conservation igniting all of the senses featuring scores of incredible wines to sample, more than a dozen restaurant tasting stations with special food menu items from some of South Walton’s most popular restaurants and celebrated Chefs, along with a cash bar offering signature cocktails and beer. Funds raised from “Dine + Dive' ticket sales and sponsorships will benefit the sixth deployment of sculptures into the nation's first Underwater Museum of Art, a collaborative project with the South Walton Artificial Reef Association and the nation’s first permanent dedicated sculpture museum, recognized as one of TIME magazine’s 2018 100 World’s Greatest Places as well as one of National Geographic’s Best Trips 2019 and a 2023 CODA Award winner.
