At BCC meeting:

Request by CFO Thomason for approval to advertise and hold a 1 p.m. Sept. 11 public hearing at the Walton County Courthouse to consider amending the current fiscal year budget in the Tourist Development Fund in the amount of $14,225,000 and the Preservation Fund in the amount of $775,000 for the purchase of beachfront property located at 24 Bramble Place and 5533 West County Highway 30A in Santa Rosa Beach, with the preservation funds to apply to the latter property, which contains the Oyster Lake dune lake outfall.

A motion for approval by Anderson carried unanimously.
