The Seaside Institute hosted a Transportation Summit and Expo February 6-8, 2020. It included a workshop on the role of new technologies in improving mobility in South Walton County. On display were electric and autonomous vehicles, as well as luxury cars. The summit and workshop, led in partnership with the Congress for New Urbanism, featured alternative transportation solutions of the Walton County Mobility Plan concepts, investigating the needs of the workforce, the travel demands of visitors, and the importance of maintaining SoWal’s unique appeal.
