"Bang! I'm not sure what happened," said Captain Mark Thompson. "Next thing I knew I had another boat wedged between my tramp and my hull."
By the time Thompson and his crew disengaged from the other boat the leaders were too far ahead to make a run for it.

"We still had a great time mixing it up out there," Thompson added. It was a free-for-all, pretty rough stuff in the gulf."
Results for the Rags To Riches Regatta 15 in Grayton Beach, Florida:
First place was garnered by Karl Renault captain and Bridget Precise crew, both from Santa Rosa beach. Second place was captured by  Jim Gates captain and TJ Shaw, both crew from Ocean Springs, MS. In third place was Michael McNeir captain and Fen Walsh crew, both from Santa Rosa beach.
