ME AND MY WHOLE FAMLEY WENT TO EAT THERE AND THE FOOD WAS GERAT.E SATY IN DEFUNIAKSPRINGS FL IT I A RIDE BUT THE FOOD AND EVERYTHING IS WELL WORTH IT I GIVE JC SEAFOOD 5 STARS.

I recently had the divine pleasure of dining at JC seafood house on 30a. I had stopped in expecting to eat at Gravel Road, one of my favorite spots, but was disappointed to find it was no longer. My disappointment stopped at the first bite of the JC Grouper! UNBELIEVABLE!! Washed it down with a cold redhook beer, which I had never heard of before but am in love with now.

I will definetly be going back to this restaurant again.. and again. and again. And if you know anything about good food, then you should stop in too!

You have not lived until you have eaten a grouper almondine! Jc Seafood does it better than I have ever had! I will be a regular for sure.

I really wanted to comment on my order from JC Seafood because the food was delicious. It was really a great blend of simple family fare with fine cuisine.

I was really impressed with even the salad dressing (ordered balsamic), which just splendid! I ordered the almandine fish and fried shrimp; both were light, despite the shrimp being fried and the fish having a buerre blanc sauce. I also need to mention that they do offer corn batter for those with gluten allergies for their seafood.

The restaurant is not pretentious and a great place for families. They do have outdoor seating. The restaurant is also very clean; the hostess/server met me at the door and answered all my questions. It is one of a few restaurants on 30A that are authentic and non-pretentious-- with delicious local seafood. Their specials looked so great-- ranging from traditional seafood options to lighter fare, like grilled ahi tuna salad. You can bring your own bottle of wine (no liquor) but there is a corkage fee. Parking was super easy. They accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover.

The value for the food is even better for those look to stretch their dollars. Their two-for-one dinner options can give you some great entrees for around $25. They include vegetables, salad and potatoes. (Some include french fries.) The vegetable side was a zucchini/yellow squash blend (grilled asparagus for an extra $3) was actually really great! Their portions were generous.
