Rotorhead 30A Running Company presents the 2023 In the Woods 30A 50K. Set to take place on Saturday, February 25 beginning at 7 a.m., the race will start and finish at the Grayton Beach State Park trailhead. To get registered or for more info, just click here: In the Woods 30A 50K.

The In the Woods 30A 50K offers three race categories from which to choose from: the 50K solo, the 2-person relay and, their newest category, the 3-person relay.

HUGE NEWS to announce. We are BEYOND excited to announce that we’re going to have one of the world’s most accomplished ultrarunners, Harvey Lewis - Ultra Runner, at this February’s In the Woods 30A 50K.

Harvey’s running resume is beyond incredible, having completed his 90th ultramarathon at last month’s Leadville 100. He has represented Team USA at the International Association of Ultrarunners (IAU) 24 Hour World Championship in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2017, and 2019. His 24 hour best in 2019 was 160.609 miles, and contributed greatly to the men’s team winning gold. Harvey has completed the Badwater 135 Ultramarathon an astounding ELEVEN TIMES - winning it in 2014 and 2021. In 2021 he was the last man standing at Big’s Backyard Ultra, finishing 354.16 miles in 85 hours.

Perhaps his biggest accomplishment, Harvey is a beloved schoolteacher in Cincinnati, Ohio.

We’re also excited to announce that Harvey’s fiancé, Kelly O’Dell, who is an accomplished ultrarunner herself, will be joining Harvey at the In the Woods 30A 50K. Kelly completed her first Badwater 135 this past July.
We were already looking forward to February. Now? Even more so - can't wait to meet them both!!!

Nurse Practitioner + Co-Founder/Executive Director of the Point Washington Medical Clinic, Ms. Hillary Glenn, and her awesome workers have been outstanding supporters of many of our races! Hillary and her selfless volunteers are constantly doing incredible things for our lovely area. Her clinic provides primary care to folks in our community at NO CHARGE. They operate solely on local-community support and donations. That is pretty fantastic, and most of her volunteer staff are runners, which makes them even cooler...if that's possible!
