The Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center, with child-friendly facilities in Okaloosa and Walton County provides critical services to child victims of sexual and physical abuse and children who witness domestic violence. The Center work collaboratively with partner agencies, to include law enforcement, prosecutors, social services, and medical professionals to hold offenders accountable while wrapping services around the child victim and their families. Services include forensic interviews, medical evaluation and exams, mental health counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals to community resources.

The Center's newest location, the Pierce Family County Children's Advocacy Center in Defuniak Springs, opened its door on April 8th and began the journey to bring hope and healing to children abuse victims in Walton County.  In 2015, the Center brought hope and healing to 757 child victims of abuse in Walton and Okaloosa counties, while providing for more than 8000 services.
