CAA Wave Workshop with Dorothy Starbuck

​Join Dorothy Starbuck at the Wave Workshop hosted by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County Feb. 28th - March 2nd from 9am-3pm at the Bayou Arts Center. In this 3-day oil painting workshop, Dorothy will be demonstrating each morning. The first day will be the underpainting. You will see how to begin, from the drawing to the first layer of paint. The second and third days, Dorothy will demonstrate how to do the finish work. The demonstrations will last approximately 45 minutes, so there is plenty of time for you to paint.

Beginners as well as more advanced artists should be able to complete their painting during the workshop. Some photos of waves will be provided, but you are encouraged to bring your own.

Classes take place at the Bayou Arts Center on Hogtown Bayou Lane, a picturesque setting on the water among the marshes sure to inspire any artist, novice or experienced.
