Trebeaché is an elegant-yet-casual eatery the heart of Blue Mountain Beach run by a trio of partner chefs. Jim Richard, Todd Misener and Brannon Janca bring a Big Easy feel to South Walton with the same great food and excellent wine list you would expect from their sister restaurants, Stinky’s Fish Camp (and Bait Shack) in Dune Allen and Treneasse in New Orleans.
“We want to be that really approachable casual place with the attention to detail of a fine dining restaurant,” says GM Kevin Moran.
Justin Gaffrey's paintings line the walls at Trebeache depicting nature scenes in South Walton. The menu is just as creative, featuring a range of classic to contemporary fare with a variety of ethnic influences. Lunch is the perfect time to get your fix of soups, salads, sandwiches and sides.
The Baked Italian on fresh focaccia comes stacked high with ham, mortadella, cappacola, provolone and olive salad for the win. For lunch al fresco pick up a 30A Beaché Boxes built to-go so you can worship the sun a little longer. Boxes range from vegetarian wraps to hearty Italian sandwiches.
Happy hour fills the lull between lunch and dinner with food and drink specials daily from 3-6 pm. Treats like the sweet walnut crusted baked brie bouchée start at just $5, as do special wines, beers and cocktails.
Sunday brunch at Trebeaché features all the best things, from Bloody Mary’s to Mimosas and Beignets to Benedicts. But dinnertime really gives the chefs a chance to exercise their creative muscles.
The raw bar on the dinner menu extends beyond oysters into the realm of Thai beef salad and poached Gulf shrimp. Dishes like the potato wrapped grouper are so pretty you hate to cut into them. Fine steaks and desserts like pistachio crème brulee round out the menu. Trebeaché also has a thing for Pinot Noir, and their reserve wine list is made mostly of the variety that goes so well with their food.
Event space at Trebeaché holds groups ranging from 20-400 guests. The restaurant hosts regular live music events and served as a venue for 30A Songwriters Fest. The Grand Ballroom and Florida Room are beautiful spaces for special events, dinners and shows. And Stinky's Blue Mountain Catering is on hand to do all the work. The Trebeaché chef team will be rolling out their special brand of hospitality throughout the year with the annual Crawfish Festival and other holiday brunches and feasts. There's always a reason for celebration with great food, cold drinks and live music.
Trebeaché is located in Redfish Village in Blue Mountain Beach. The restaurant is open daily for lunch, happy hour and dinner, and on Sundays they add brunch. Stay tuned to Facebook for info on live music and events. Call 850-937-7793 for reservations. See menus and more at www.trebeache.com.
