Alys Beach Real Estate Sales Update

The summer season continues to reflect a welcomed response from customers seeing valued opportunities in the real estate market along 30A. Many of the buyers are engaging in the 30A market to secure a property for their families to enjoy for a lifetime.

Sales through second quarter 2012 along 30A delivered a 28% increase in homesite sales and a 17% increase in home sales compared to respective sales through second quarter in 2011.

Inventory levels continue to come down.  In tracking other town developments along 30A, we have seen a 35% decrease in homesite inventory and a 4% decrease in housing inventories.

In Alys Beach, we are experiencing a renewed demand for our real estate offerings. Sales through second quarter 2012 have increased 53% over sales through second quarter 2011.  We are having a tremendous growth spurt in our homebuilding - with many new homes currently under construction with several more construction ‘starts’ this year.
