Maywethear vs. Marquez
Anyone planning to watch? I've got some money on Mayweather, but i fear he'll lose after watching all those 24/7 shows. Marquez just seems to be more serious about it. Still, should be a great fight next weekend.

Yeah it's a boxing fight. Mayweather is undefeated and is quite fun to watch. Baring some sort of lobsided early round take down, it should go a full set of rounds. HBO's been running their 24/7 series on it. The fight is Saturday, 7pm on PPV.

I read on CNN/SI that Mayweather weighed in 4 pounds over limit 144. Fined $600K, but still fought. Watching the 24/7 series on HBO has made me a Mayweather fan, but this is (yet another) one of those things that make you shake your head about boxing.

Glad to see a thread about boxing. Mayweather was only 2 pounds over the limit and they re-wrote the contract so that Marquez got the 600k. Kind of a win for him considering how lopsided the fight ended up.

There are some interesting fights out there for Mayweather in the future if he chooses to take them. He needs to fight guys equal in size or bigger otherwise we will get these lopsided results.
