Is it rude for me to politely ask the people staying behind us to leave all their beach "stuff" (and there is a lot of it), out of our view looking out to Alligator lake outlet? I really don't want to see their crap when I look out to see the beautiful dunes. I thought about moving it back myself but.... I don't know. what would you do??

Unless they are leaving their items on their property, I see nothing rude about it. They shouldn't be leaving anything on community property or the beach.
Basically, I'm just passing through on my way to Australia.

I would have the same dilemma!! Do you say something or move it yourself? I would do one or the other for sure. I would probably move it and then tell them why you did so. Nothing worsethan a spoiled view of our beautiful dunes and lakes!!

:) update. My sister in law told them beach patrol was asking if it was our stuff and wanted it moved. (just a little white lie) they moved it!
