Turtle hatch!

Finally!!!!!! After years of anticipation, we witnessed turtle hatchings tonight!

The nest was right next to the stairs by tranquility in sea crest. It was dated 5/30. I was looking everyday for changes, first there was a quarter size hole then a small mound. When we were headed in after the sun set the hole was gone and there was a hand sized depression that would move every so often. This went on until the moon rose and then about 50 turtles made their way out, and went to the water. What a wonderful experience!

Turtle update. The volunteers came out, they dug out the nest....104 eggs successfully hatched 4 were reburied and only one turtle was dead. What an awesome experience!
