Join Meyer Skimboards’ Cassidy brothers Dan and Matt together with local artist 2012 ArtsQuest winner Justin Lyons for a children’s Paint ‘n Skim Workshop at SK8 30A Board Shop in Blue Mountain Beach on Monday, July 30th from 10am-till. Learn firsthand the basic techniques for painting with acrylic, pencil, pen, and screen printing. Each participant will be provided with an unfinished board to customize and purchase at a discounted price. All participants’ boards will be finished by the Meyer Skimboards team and will be available for pickup at SK8 30A Board Shop on Thursday, August 2nd, or shipping can be arranged. Founded in 1985, all Meyer Skimboards are handcrafted locally in South Walton combining wood, wood/foam hybrids, hand-painted graphics and high-gloss Epoxy Resin to create some of the most durable and attractive wood skimboards available.
