Share the Shelter Music Festival, is a fundraiser at Gulf Place put on by Shelter House and Alaqua Animal Refuge to raise money for women, children, and animal abuse victims. The second annual event to be held Sept. 29 will have two pre-party events July 13 and 14. The July 13 event will be at the Destin Funky Blues Shack, while the 14th will be at Funky’s in Baytowne. Megan McCormick will headline both events, which patrons can attend for $20, the price of which includes drink specials, appetizers, and T-shirt.
