So Much Good Music to Party to in SoWal This Week!

Wow, what a great week coming up for music lovers here in SoWal:

Tuesday, July 10, 2012 brings Geoff McBride, Tim Jackson, and Ike Bartley back to The Old Florida Fish House for listening and dancing pleasure. Cowabunga Cowboy, Bryan Kennedy, continues his show at the Seaside REP Theater. Bryan’s interactive shows have been getting rave reviews. Having comedian and actor Kevin Boyle and special local entertainers on stage with him makes each one of the show in this series very special. They run every Tuesday until the end of July.

On Wednesday evening, Billy Garrett will bring a few friends with him to the Alys Beach Amphitheater. Local favorites, Dread Clampitt will also be performing under the stars at Baytowne’s Wednesday Night Concert Series. The Forrest Williams Band will be rocking Pandora’s. Seaside's Summer Concert Series presents Silver Arrow Records' Truth & Salvage Co. in the amphitheater.

Thursday night’s line includes song stylist, Kelsey Anna, playing her favorite covers along with many of her originals for the patrons of Marie's Bistro. Shawn Perry is playing at the new local hot spot, Suite Carillon. Zack Rosicka will be performing in Grayton Beach at Shorty’s.

This Friday, as they do every Wednesday through Saturday, 6-11pm, The Red Bar Jazz Band will be at Grayton Beach’s iconic Red Bar. Dannica Lowery will at Local Catch, Blue Mountain Beach’s newest restaurant/ bar/music venue.

On Saturday the 14^th, Howlin’ Jack will be laying down some rockin’ blues at Shorty’s. Geoff McBride will be singing at a Benefit for Amber Cook, a local personal trainer who recently had surgery for a brain tumor. The event is being hosted by Arriaga Art Gallery in Seacrest Beach. Forrest and Pherrel Williams are having another one of their Backyard Boogies Featuring Eric Lindell. With Grayton Beach Catering’s food and fun outdoor atmosphere, these events are quickly becoming local favorites.

The week closes on Sunday with Dread Clampitt at the Red Bar, Franco and Fiends entertaining the crowds at Shorty’s in the afternoon and Pandora’s later in the evening, and Chris Alvarado picking and singing for the folks at The Naked Grape Wine Station.

There’s a lot to do here in SoWal this week. Got out and have yourself some fun!
