Best Crabcakes in SOWAL
My tops go to Edward's Fine Food, Cafe Thirty A, and Bud & Alley's. All of them being the appetizer portion because they are so rich, but so very good. A lot around do not use Lump/Jumbo Lump and are packed with filler. What are your thoughts and who's your favorite?

Sara K's- nothing but crab, made into cakes the size of baseballs. Her store is in Destin, but I saw her at the Seaside Farmer's Market last Saturday. The spicy remoulade is wonderful too.

Red Bar. No contest, IMHO.
I used to travel extensively for work when I moved here 5 years ago. I searched far and wide for a crab cake I thought was better. Coastal cities known for seafood. Metropolitan areas known for bringing in the best and freshest of anything. I ate a lot of nice crab cakes. But none as fine as Red Bar's.
