Burt Pine hosts Block Party to Benefit Children's Advocacy and Hospital, May 20, 2012
The Inaugural CommUNITYCares Benefit Block Party will take place from 4-8 p.m., May 20, in the Burnt Pine Country Club Parking Lot at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort.
The Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center and Sacred Heart on the Emerald Coast are the block party’s benefiting non-profit organizations.
Master of Ceremonies Jim Stewart is a former CBS News and "60 Minutes" correspondent. Live entertainment will be provided by Donnie Sundal, and the evening will feature food from Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Chan’s Wine World, Fleming’s Steak House and Stinky’s Fish Camp.
Tickets are limited, but available to the public for $200/couple.
Guest should dress in resort attire. In honor of the Kentucky Derby, a prize will be given for the Most Creative Hat. Auctioneer Tina Anderson will present exclusive lots in the Live Auction, with 100 percent of the live lot proceeds going to the charities to benefit local families in need.
