SWFD Firefighter needs our help

For those that love and/or live in SoWal a local firefighter has had a catastrophic event in his life and needs our support. He was involved in a recent accident and the family could use financial support to get him in a specialty rehab center. He has served and protected you and your family, now it's our turn o help him and his family.

Danny's wife April has created a journal to keep everyone posted about Danny's progress. There is an iPhone and Android app for Caring Bridge as well.

Come out to the Donut Hole in Santa Rosa Beach Saturday. They will donate 25% of proceeds to help Danny and his family.

Donations For SW Firefighter

On Saturday April 14^th, a member of the South Walton Fire District (SWFD) was seriously injured during an off duty water incident. Firefighter/Paramedic Danny Margagliano suffered a severe neck/spinal injury when he dove into shallow water.

Margagliano was flown to Sacred Heart in Pensacola where he continues to be monitored in the ICU. Early signs of paralysis have the Margagliano family, friends and co-workers searching for ways to assist with the ever mounting medical bills. Although it is still too early to determine whether permanent paralysis will set in, it is not too early to start with the fundraising.

In a collaborative effort between the SWFD and the South Walton Professional Fire Fighters Association (SWPFFA Local 3516) a website has been created to provide financial assistance to the Margagliano Family.

Folks on Sunday may the 13 th from noon to 3 pm at the Red Bar we will be having a fund raiser on behalf of a local firefighter name Dany Mastangelo he dove in shallow water and broke is neck, now paralyzed he is left with a wife and 2 small kids We are having a silent auction Please come by and bid high... Also if u have any item that u might want to donate for the auction will be very appreciated Please let me know and I'll arrange to pick up So please follow your heart and come on out sunday.
