BBQ Competition & Kids Day at Hammock Bay September 24, 2011
Boys & Girls Club of the Emerald Coast host Walton Day for Kids
September 24, 2011
10am - 4pm
Freeport Regional Sports Complex
A variety of kid-friendly activities and safety demonstrations will take place. Food and craft vendors will also be on hand along with a backyard BBQ competition.
Proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast South Walton Club nad DeFuniak Springs Teen Center.

Walton County Day for Kids Sept 24 - update
FREE Admission, FREE Parking, FREE Activities and FREE Entertainment! The community is invited to enjoy a day of fun family activities on Saturday, September 24th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Freeport Regional Sports Complex in Hammock Bay. Day for Kids is celebrated nationally throughout the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. This is the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast’s FIRST annual in Walton County!
A variety of kid-friendly activities and demonstrations will take place from the Freeport Fire Department, McGruff the Crime Dog, Nonie's Ark petting zoo, Smokey the Bear, CHELCO Safety City, Walton County Sheriff Department, police cars and boats, live entertainment, play-dough making station, art showcase, face painting, balloon animals, kickball, basketball, 3-legged race games, and MUCH more!
Food and craft vendors will be on hand to sell their goods and the Walton County Tax Collector’s Office will host a Backyard BBQ competition sponsored by Hammock Bay. Proceeds will benefit the DeFuniak Springs and South Walton Boys & Girls Clubs.
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy spending the day participating in Day for Kids!
