Meetings Workshop 9-10 AM

In this session, learn about the upcoming tradeshow schedule and partner booth share opportunities, sponsorship opportunities for in-market group business and a C-Vent partnership. Meeting print and online opportunities, as well as other sales related items will be reviewed. Everyone is welcome to attend this workshop, especially South Walton properties who actively promote their business to meeting planners and group business.

Arts & Cultural Workshop 10:30-11:30 AM

In this session, the TDC will discuss upcoming programs that support highlighting our arts community. We will discuss the Bayou Arts Center, including its purpose, hours and September grand opening. We will also provide updates to the Artist of the Year program and will review policies for hosting media on familiarization tours. We encourage you to bring anyone with an interest in arts and culture in South Walton.

Eco-Tourism Workshop 1-2 PM

In this session, the TDC will discuss plans that support highlighting eco-tourism in South Walton. We will review policies for hosting media on familiarization tours, and discuss our Nature-Based Certified Outfitters program and possible features for an upcoming eco mobile app. A representative from the E.O.Wilson Biophilia Center will provide an update on their facility, news of upcoming programs and results since partnering with the TDC. Everyone is welcome to attend this workshop, especially individuals involved in nature tours, fishing excursions, state parks, agriculture, coastal dune lakes or related area.
