3rd Annual Seaside Rocks - Rock Band Tournament March 18 / April 8

Seaside Rocks! 2011 � A Rock Band Tournament
Live your dream of being a rock star!

Two separate tournaments on March 18th and April 8th give amateurs and experts alike the chance to show off their skills and originality as they compete to win a $250 shopping spree at Best Buy in Destin.

Register only online to sign up for one of 8 spots each hour from 10AM to 4PM on tournament days for the preliminary rounds of the tournament.

The top scorers will move on to the final competition on stage in front of rock fans, held at 7PM that night in the Seaside Amphitheater.

Controllers will be provided but players may bring their own. If you are under the age of 18, there is a parental consent form to sign.

Awww yeah.

The Nuge is ready to rock! I can think of a lot of things I can buy with that $250 grand prize. Maybe a new compound bow and some helicopter fuel.

Seaside Rocks auditions happening NOW until 4 pm at the Meeting Hall Theatre in Seaside! "Professional" Rock Band players are on hand to coach and assist in showmanship and most excellent song selection.

The finalists will play live on the big screen in the amphitheater tonight! Win $250 to spend at Best Buy AND become a celebrity. Winning!

Last time we had some great teen bands and some great kid bands.

Let's see if we can get some totally righteous parent bands this time!

Back in January I put together another group with my ex-drummer from 25 years ago and two other friends. It rocks hard! If any of you know of a venue down there where good progressive rock bands can play without the WCSO shutting us down, let me know!!
