    Vote for Autism therapy Dogs!

Thanks in advance! Now currently in 5th place.

    Dear Volunteers,

Thank you very much for voting for us in Pepsi Co’s Project Refresh.

We’re currently in 6th place but we need to be in the top two to receive $250,000 for our Heeling Autism Program.

This program is having a profound impact on the lives of everyone involved. One Heeling Autism parent wrote to us that:
I felt like I was at a breaking point.
I spent my days fighting sleep deprivation and anxiety. I worried for my son’s safety, and this made me afraid to leave the house. I felt like a poor parent to my two daughters, and it appeared as though my marriage was crumbling around me.

Then our Heeling Autism dog came into our lives.
Our Labrador has been the beacon we needed to return to a sense of normalcy. This summer, my kids spent many days in the yard, playing togetherwith their new dog. We’ve had dinners out, and we even spent a long weekend away. Perhaps most importantly - I’ve seen my son smile.

We have a long way to go, and I know I will always worry. But I see a brighter future now, for all of us. A sense of sadness has been lifted - from our home and from our hearts.”

We still need your help. Please continue to vote for us every day in August . Visit: Increase the number of children who receive autism service dogs. | Pepsi Refresh Everything and vote.

You can also text 101731 to Pepsi (73774) in addition to voting online.

We’d be delighted if you could forward this email to friends, family members, and colleagues who may be interested and willing to assist us. Additionally you can print out the attached poster and use it to post on bulletin boards, hand out to potential supporters etc.
Your voice will make a difference in the lives of countless children and families.
Thank you for your ongoing support,

Your friends at Guiding Eyes for the Blind

    About Heeling Autism
Guiding Eyes for the Blind has introduced a program in which its world-renowned dogs are trained to provide safety for children with autism. Heeling Autism dogs are trained to prevent a child with autism from bolting, and become an important element in keeping the child safe. Families involved in the program have also reported other, life-changing benefits from having a Heeling Autism dog in their homes.

Since all the missing and or homeless dogs have found a home or theirs, I am bumping.
