    Upcoming Florida Master Naturalist Class (Wetlands Module): July 7-22

    Attention Teachers, Naturalists, Natural Resource Professionals, Citizen Stewards and Interested Persons

    UF IFAS/Marine Science Extension is offering the Wetlands Module of the Florida Master Naturalist Program in Okaloosa and Walton Counties. This class provides 40 contact hours of instruction in the flora and fauna of Florida wetlands through classroom instruction, field trips and guest speakers. The class will be on Wednesday and Thursday each week from July 7 to July 22nd, 9am to 4pm.

    Please visit the website for more information on the Florida Master Naturalist program and also to register. Go to course offerings and Okaloosa/Walton County. Registration closes June 30th.

    Man, I wish I could take this. Then I could be certified in two states. The Florida one would be very cool for sure!

    so that's why you know so much about growing stuff? what did you take in Texas? maybe you need to take a leave of absence and come on over for the class. it'll do ya good.

    same class...different state. in texas, we learned about woodlands, prairies, wetlands, etc. i'm sure peeps in south texas learned about beaches, marshes, etc.
