Best mobile phone provider?
My wife had Verizon which is overall the best we have found for years.... However, after moving to the east end of Chat Holly by 331, she had no service. She switched to AT&T which is decent.
I have Sprint and it is lousy at the house -better if I go down the street. Any comments? Would prefer your service experience with your locale...
Thanks

We had great luck for years in ATL with Verizon, but our experience with them in SoWal is dismal. At our house in Seagrove Beach, there is no hope of using a Verizon phone indoors. We switched to AT&T and except for a dip in the road between Seacrest and Seagove, the service is great.
99% of the population is defined by its stupidity and greed. Sadly, the percentages are higher for politicians, bankers and journalists.

I have a company phone with service provided by Verizon - service is ok. Husband had to have the Iphone, so he has AT&T which seems to work really well all over. We had T-Mobile when we moved down in November and we always had to walk outside to get reception.
Reminds me of when I was a kid and my grandpa put aluminum foil on the TV antenea and it worked really good only when he had his hand on it.

It's been a crap shoot along this coast, with any provider, for as long as I can remember. It was explained to me once that the antennaes/towers that relay the signals are forced to be placed where they will not interfere with the radio towers for the off shore oil companies. This is no joke.
My mind tends to wander... but fortunately, it's so weak, it doesn't get very far...

The area on 331 at the east end of Chat Holly has a dead spot for Verizon coverage. It has slightly improved over the last year, but still in and out for a 400 yard stretch.
I have verizon, and it is decent in most areas, but experiences gaps in some locations. AT&T users used to report worse signal in South Walton, but have made some improvements, though not enough for me to switch. Also, AT&T is reported by consumer reports to be the worst of all cellular companies in regards to customer service, and when my phone isn't working, the last thing I want is terrible customer service.

Nokia 3220 - OK but camera not good for taking good pictures.Motorola RAZR V3 - worst phone I ever got to use. Sound Clarity degrades when calling. Camera not that good - it's so frazile so I think it's a girls phone anyway. But, for girls I would recommend this phone. But, it has to be a true RAZR the V3i and not V3.Sony Ericson K750i - good but not user fliendly and download time takes ages to transfer picture from phone to computer.
