I'm ready for a rainy weekend. but I feel awful for several wonderful sowallers visiting town this weekend! I hope it clears out sometime tomorrow for them. today was the most gorgeous day ever though - they did get some of that...

Some of my best visits have been spent sleeping on the screened porch during tremendous storms. I love 'em. I don't feel that I'm missing out on anything because I'm not a sun baby. Any day in Sowal is a good day!

Yep it was a wild night here too. Things were flying all over the place and many trees down and many without power still.

That big tornado was on the ground 97 minutes! I am surprised more damage didn't occur!

Didn't dampen my spirits one bit. The storm was kinda cool and Sunkist and I had a funn tour of PCB when the weather was crappy. My thoughts were..."a crappy day at the beach is better than a sunny day in Dallas."

Same here. Except we walked around Ruskin Place, went to Sundog, Modica's and then drove through Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach. It was nice. Loved watching the storm over the ocean, it was really impressive.
