The First Rep Theatre Show of 2010!
Two Nights Only!

Abby and June
A New Play by Kim Dilts
January 30 & 31 @ 7:30m
Seaside Meeting Hall Theatre
All Tickets $20
Abby thinks the world’s imploding. Her boyfriend nauseates her, Botox ads make her sob, and Malawi’s orphans are keeping her up at night.
June’s boyfriend is cheating on her with the perfect Italian sommelier at the Miami Grand Windsor Hotel.Abby heads west, June heads east, and a global search for God, revenge, and the Great American Novel ensues…
Exploring the quest for meaning and connection on an ever-confounding planet, Abby and June chronicles two women’s global search for God, revenge, and the Great American Novel. A theatrical event that takes us to ten countries, four continents, across the ocean and back, this two-person play examines the moments that shape us, the connections between us, and the gifts that lie outside the comfort zone.
Abby & June began as the playwright’s MFA thesis at the University of Texas at Austin and was further developed through the Seaside Escape to Create artist residency. The play has also received staged readings and development time in FL, NY and LA.
Starring: Kimberly Dilts and Joanna Strange
Directed by: Elena Araoz

Sounds like a SoWal thread live on stage.

I just went through the tech on this show, it's hilarious. Get your seats for tomorrow, or you will be feeling very left out come Monday.

What a great show! Bravo to all involved in putting together such a witty and poignant production, and thanks to the Rep for bringing more great theatre to our community! I'm sorry I couldn't stay for the Q&A; I may have to sneak in to tomorrow nights' session...
Those who have tickets for Sunday's performance are in for a treat, and there are only a few seats left, so get 'em while you can! Seaside Repertory Theatre"My life has been a huge adventure, always. I like them bold, I'm done with creepy." - Seagrovegirl

This play is hysterical and thought provoking. If you miss it you're missing a lot.
"Was that a chicken?"
Ode to Malaria is hysterical as well.
