Lucky Spring Breakers in SoWal with Outstanding Weather

I just checked the weather for next week (beginning this Saturday) for SoWal and it looks like spring breakers in that area will have outstanding -- truly outstanding -- weather. High 70's over the weekend, then 70s, sunny. Though I'll be envious, I'll be very happy for everyone in SoWal.

it's certainly better than the weather here in indiana - we are expecting rain every day until tues., then it goes back to snow showers.

It was about 55 here in Michigan, but rainy. Our 14 year old wore capris to school (the preteens, teens, and college students start wearing shorts and capris as soon as it gets in the 50s here because they're so desperate for spring). But, at least I can be happy for our SoWal friends and guests.

You know, they are lucky...fortunate. We spent Jan and Feb just off 30A...we were lucky and fortunate too : ) We searched for...and found the Best Grouper Sandwich/Po Boy...we actually found it just off 30A near the Red Bar ...ohhhh, I do miss my grouper fix!!!

Not only is the pollen gearing up, but mosquitos are beginning to show up as well.

The mosquitoes are carrying bayonets on the Gulf Coast. I never have noticed them being too bad on the beach...those little sand flies however are a whole different kind of pain.

We are getting snow here in the Napa Valley, with a cold front and the Pineapple Express colliding over the State. I looked out from our deck about an hour ago and the entire top of Mt. St. Helena was covered in snow, plus there is already snow in the foothills and canyons right behind our house.

Butter's first snow! He ran out onto the frosted-over deck this morning and performed a triple lutz, followed by a double toe loop, before careening over the edge into a boxwood hedge. Those agility lessons are coming in handy! Oh, Dick, see Butter skate. Oh, Sally, see Butter fly.
