Hubby drove around the 'hood this evening. La Botana, Flip-Flops -- can't tell if they're open because the parking is in the back. Café Thirty-A is open. Bruno's is open. Seaside appeared closed except for Great Southern. Borago is open. Red Bar looked open, even though we heard that it is now closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
He picked up a really good pizza at Bruno's. BTW they have redecorated.

Hey, gull, I have driven to Buckhead for a hair appointment when it was snowing. I have also kept my appointments on two separate occasions when the salon had no water because a water main burst (common problem with the Atlanta infrastructure). They shampooed and rinsed my hair from individual (can't remember the brand) bottles poured into a large flower vase.

Now if the power goes out, that's a different story. I think I'd call first to see if they have power and water.

Really?

If it was absolutely necessary I'd call first to see if my stylist could actually GET to the salon ................and that's if they loved me so much they were even willing to TRY and get to the salon (and open and staff it).
Ida may be a tropical storm or depression, but it still is quite a bit stronger than the windspeed requirement to close the bridges.
Holy rude diva behavior batman! You made them wash your hair with bottled water from freaking flower vases? TWICE?!?
