Did anyone get to see the new Harry Potter movie?

I haven't yet, but have heard mixed reviews on this one. If you were one of the waiting ones that got in let us know how you felt about the character acting, feel of the movie, etc.

We saw it last night and really liked it. There were sections of the book that were left out of the movie, but it still flowed well. IMO, the acting was better in this one than the others as the younger characters continue to improve. Slughorn was well done as the newest character. The strange ones (Bellatrix and Luna Lovegood) seemed extra weird in their small parts. The special effects were well done as always and the opening sceene was pretty cool. It's definitely one of my top two for the series. I would recommend seeing it at the big screen if you're a fan.

I'm waiting for my Atlanta buddy to get down to SoWal. She should be on the road right now!! We've seen all the Potter movies together. Think I'll glance over the book to refresh my memory on more of the details so I can fill in what the movie is sure to edit. Glad you liked it BS02. Heard mixed review on the beach yesterday. But, reviewers often have different take on movies.

Is this the movie with the 30 year old teenagers playing witches and warlocks?
