Lost Wedding Band
Calling all metal detectors!
If you happen to come across a 12mm wide men's gold wedding band with an anchor motif on the top and 9-9-94 enscribed on the inside of the ring, it's mine.
I lost it while in the Gulf just off the Gulfview Heights walkover in Santa Rosa Beach last Saturday afternoon. I was standing about waist deep when a wave knocked me over. While grabbing at my sunglasses which had been knocked off, my wedding band flew off into the surf. I'd lost a considerable amount of weight last year and the band was a bit loose but I never thought it would come off that easily. Interesting that my wife gave it to me while we were on a schooner on the Guld of Mexico being married 15 years ago and now the Gulf has reclaimed it -- for now, at least.
So, if you happen to come across this treasured item, please call me (404.405.8534) or email me at pfoley@m2creative.com. Of course, there'll be a reward. Thanks, all!Thoughts become things ... choose the good ones.

Things tend to wash East in my experience. Keep looking in that area. We found a message in a bottle near Dunes of Seagrove that was launched 2 years earlier in Seaside.

Thanks, SamuelsGran and SWGB
Thanks for your responses. No wedding band yet but I've heard of stranger things happening. Recently, a New York woman was reunited with her wallet that had been stolen 27 years earlier. A worker found it in a tree hollow just before he was to fell the tree. Driver's license and credit cards were intact though the $20 that had been in it was missing (in today's dollars, that was probably more like a C-note.) He was able to track the woman down and return the wallet. Hope this won't take me 27 years!

I lost my wedding ring in the Gulf in front of Seahaunts 3 years ago. I looked for it for 2 years. I really thought I would find it. Oh well....
Good luck!

Thanks, Geo and Katz ...
I still hold out (I know, irrational) hope that somehow the wedding band will surface and find its way back to me. It was custom-made in 1994 when gold prices were a lot more reasonable than they are now. And without an income the last four months, I've got to watch every cent from my dwindling reserves.
Anybody know of some job openings in the area of writing/editing/strategic communication/events?Thoughts become things ... choose the good ones.
