BACK TO GRAYTON BEACH EVENT NOW AN ARTSQUEST TRADITION
“Back to Grayton Beach” gathering was so enjoyed last year that the Cultural Arts Association has made it an annual event. The public is invited to come reminisce with old friends, mingle with new friends and watch the sunset in the place where ArtsQuest was born over 20 years ago as the Grayton Beach Fine Arts Festival.
The Back to Grayton Beach event began in 2008 in celebration of the 20th anniversary of ArtsQuest. Honored last year were festival founders Susan Foster, Jan Clarke and Jeffrey Ellis. Many former and current ArtsQuest chairs and volunteers shared memories and anecdotes about their years coordinating this now twenty-one year old Festival.
Back to Grayton Beach is an informal gathering that will be held on Sunday, May 3 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the end of the public boardwalk on Grayton Beach. Admission is free and open to the public. Bring an appetizer to share, your own libation (no glass) and a chair.
For those in physical need, a beach shuttle will pick up at Hibiscus Coffee & Guest House on DeFuniak Street from 5:30 pm – 5:50 pm. In case of inclement weather, join us at the same time on the deck at Pandora’s in Grayton Beach. The Cultural Arts Association Fostering the Literary, Performing and Visual Arts in Walton County www.CulturalArtsAssociation.com | 850.622.5970
