    Today's Fire and Smoke Mar. 13, 2009

    Anyone know the source of today's heavy smoke drifting south across beach. Looks like it could be around Seagrove, Seaside, WaterColor. How are the roads? 30A, 395? Too bad for the smoke today. Finally, not as much fog and looks to be a stellar beach day. Sorry if it is an accident. If it is a controlled burn, why today during a beautiful, busy Spring Break day? Oops, wrong date in title. Today is Thursday, Mar. 12. Tomorrow is Friday, March 13.

    I don't smell any smoke in Seagrove. The fog is drifting in and out, though.

    Well, it is now foggy at beach, too. Smoke smell still heavy in air. Could just be someone doing some heavy spring cleaning. Maybe tomorrow, Friday the 13th, will be better. I'd fix title if I had read memo on how to do that.

    Fog was really thick on 98 until Publix in WPCB...no smoke that I noticed, no accident or fire anywhere....

    no fog in PCB today.

    Check out this WunderMap Interactive Radar & Weather Stations : Weather Underground you can choose the fire option and find local forest fires. Not sure if it works for controlled burns, but it is updated live.
