    They sent Jeff home!!!

If anyone is a fan of Top Chef, you know that Jeff McInnis is one of the local boys done well. He lived and went to public school in Niceville. He was brought back this week for a chance to make it to the top 3 in the finals. I think they should have kept him and sent the two foreign guys home (not because of that)...Jeff should have won the challenge!! I'm just venting this morning!!

If Jeff had won, then Stefan would have been told to pack his knives, and Tom wasn't going to let that happen to his golden boy.

    Stefan

    I want Stefan to go!!!

    SO DO I!!!!

But as Top Chef history has goes theres always one in the finals that everyone hates, and with the exception of Hung in season number 3 they ALWAYS loose.
I DO NOT LIKE Stefan but he is good. Now, the question is is he good because he is
truly good or is he good because he conveys this I holier than tho attitude?

Either way I dont like him. But thats just me.....

We were shocked that Stefan stayed. No one said anything good about his dish. I agree that they had to have on antagonist for the final round. Felt bad for Jeff but really, what were the odds of him pulling out a win. Emeril is probably going to set him up with a restaurant in Miami.
And why didn't Jamie win the quickfire??? Because if she had won and got close on the elimination challenge would they have wanted her in the finals???? It is TV after all. This stuff ain't real.

if you consider his drink and two dishes, jeff beat karla....her spritzer was not the equal of his mojito, and his food drew the highest praise.

I love TC and I so agree with all of you. Stefan is a jerk, but he's obviously a good chef. I'm pullin' for Carla now. Didn't care for her at first, but she's grown on me with her quirky self.

It's clear that you aren't judged entirely on your food on TC. Look at Leah, the only reason she stayed was because they kept waiting for her to hook up with Joseah. Leah should have been gone the moment she served undercooked fish. I'm really losing respect for TC in that regard. If you can't even meet basic food safety guidelines you should be eliminated. Even if the opposition served a salt lick with sardine sauce.

Stefan stayed purely because he is the antagonist. I wanted to smack him when he (a German native) said Joseah's gumbo was crap. He then went on to say that some people use a light rue and some use a dark rue. Anybody ever had a light rue in there gumbo? WTF? He's cocky and played the game, but IMO if they want any credibility in picking the Top Chef then they should perhaps focus on quality and appeal. When Rhadika (sp?) went home because her door whore skills weren't that good killed me. Leah served RAW fish and it wasn't sushi.

Okay I'm done venting, I might watch next season but that's still up in the air.

jeff should have won, emiril should have parked his bias, and stefan, not fabio, should be gone home....stefan's lack of self esteem is juvenile, and while he's good at throwing things together on a moment's notice, he does not have the attention to detail necessary to win. i look for karla to prevail.
