Saturday at Modica. Yard Sale day!

We are looking for a busy day. Charlie's Special is a combination of the last two. Either a White Powder Sugar Doughnut or a Sausage Biscuit and an 8oz coffee for $1.50

We will open as soon as coffee is made. Charlie, Lisa and I plan to be there around 6:00 am but it will take a little time to prep. Most of the time, if we are there and you press your face to the glass and look all starving and cold, you get in.

For anyone who has ever not been let in.

Sometimes there are issues that prevent it

but with as much prep as I did today to be ready, there better not be any issues!

I bet you are tired! I know I am- coffee from Modica at 6:45 am, iced tea at 9ish am, mimosa at pre-lunch time. Thanks for everything today!

Oh, and an add-on edit. Margaritas right now.

No prob. We went to La Botana. The food and the wine list were awesome. I had a chicken burrito ($10), hubby had the taco Mexicanos and the best chili relenos that he has ever had.

It was really cool that we could just walk there. What a gift!

Y'all, please support this restaurant. It was packed tonight, thanks to a birthday party. But often it is not. Please keep them in mind when you dine out. If I had cooked what we had tonight, it would have cost more than what we paid and would not have been as good.

EDIT: And of course, support Modica Market. It is so unique and one of our favorite places on 30A. Love the lunch specials!

It is a very good tired.

We had a smooth day with a lot of friends and good food. My only regrets are that I only got a little chili and I didn't get to shop!

Thanks to all who came in and braved the Modica line! We may get a little grumpy when it gets out of hand but I can tell you honestly.

I love the crowd!
