2009 Years/2009 Posts...Where to Now?
I have posted exactly once for every year that Jesus has been gone--y' all THAT really is a lot of posting....at this rate I will only get to 25,000 posts in the year 2050 if I am still alive, and I will never be in the top 10 of "thank you" posts.
In reality, it is not the "thanks yous" in life or on this board that I need or want to earn in 2009 , its the "you're welcomes" that I personally want to extend outward to others!
I need new Sowal goals for 2009, so I say POST LESS, and LURK more! What is wrong with lurking and lurkers?? I can gain just as much important information from reading others posts. I am going to stop being an expert on things I have no absolutely interest in or knowledge about, I will leave that to others--let them be vulnerable and psychologically naked for awhile--I am keeping my clothes on and my sarcasm in check for 2009. I am also not be posting any comments that are only smilie icons--I will clap, laugh, throw up, bow, trainwreck, etc. in conjunction with pared down, all encompassing thoughts and comments ( I really want to be just like Bob, who is really Bill Mahr, but with way fewer, well chosen words.) Besides, there are already at least 5 or 6 left leaners on this board that can do my speaking for me--so I am lazy too!
Lastly, for 2009, I think Sowalism (sounds like Communism
)needs to be tempered more by creative 3-D, physical and sensual reality---so, I will continue to Koffee Klatch every Weds mornings, be a part of any Sowallers personal, local 30A charities or endeavors (or all 50 of BB's), and I might even stay at any future Soirees for more than 5 minutes....or until the "shots" run out, or ring out . Lurk more, Amen.

Don't be silly - how could you stop posting during a major event that many will ask for photographic/video proof of!
I seriously think I would miss the 2nd coming if it wasn't Sowal news!

you can't be like me unless there's at least one minivan in the driveway and dog hair in everything you own

this thread is hilarious. hnooe - I hope you are the type that sticks with their resolutions for about 3 days!

I think we need to start the Bob Admiration Society. Or the We Love Bob Club. Let's come up with a good name.

Yes I was--I was drunk on Bailey's Irish creme --what a rush!
Actually, my TWO MOST FAVORITE posters/ responders are actually Bob and Miss Kitty--If I could ONLY combine those two folks--wow--I guess they could be "bokitty responses, as in, that statement is pure "bokitty."...
Self deprecating and ironic at the same time. Perfection!!Last edited by hnooe; 01-02-2009 at 11:08 AM.

Just wanted you to know I read your post. I look forward to more 3-D meetings, too. Believe it or not, I do hold back on many of my opinions. It is a charge to see reactions when one gets too close or vocal on some issues. I'll probably try to stick to more gentle topics myself this year. I resolve not call you hnoee every time I see you out and about. Happy New Year by the way.

and dish it out....my favorite trait in a person.
Yes, Bob is back and the life is good.

Substitute Suburban for minivan, and I qualify. If I could learn to spin dog hair into sweaters, I could start a cottage business. <No doubt swgb will provide the link showing me how to do that.

hnnoe, if you quit posting, we'll have to up the klatch to 3x/week. I need my fix.Last edited by Miss Critter; 01-02-2009 at 04:17 PM. Reason: add

I know that there is a company where you send in your dog's hair and they make yarn out of it.

I prefer wearing my dog hair the old-fashioned way - pucking everywhere w/ no knitting required!

I bet organicmama could spin/knit it for me.

I don't think Lab hair will qualify, goldens, huskies and shelties are good choices.

Those of us who read the Sweet Potato Queens books know that BOB stands for "battery operated boyfriend." No wonder he's so popular.
